CBS
"The Big Bang Theory's" Bob Newhart and Jim Parsons
Not much is known about the upcoming seventh season of CBS' The Big Bang Theory.
Yes, Leonard will be on a boat during his expedition for Stephen Hawking, leaving Penny and Sheldon to support one another in his absence. Raj, now that he's able to talk to women without the assistance of booze, will explore dating. And Amy and Bernadette will spend some time together during a work trip.

But beyond that, the series from executive producers Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady and Steve Molaro, doesn't plot too far ahead. Instead, the producers follow the characters and see where the performances take the story -- leaving a lot of room for ideas including last season's now famous Dungeons & Dragons episode and beyond.
The Hollywood Reporter caught up with the producers and a half the cast during a recent Emmy Q&A on the Burbank set to find out what's at the top of everyone's wish list for the upcoming seventh season.

Mayim Bialik (Amy)
"I'm hoping for a scene with Simon Helberg (Howard). He's the only person that I haven't had my own scene with and I'm obsessed with him. For all I know, he's told the writers not to write any scenes with just the two of us because he knows I'm his biggest fan! That's the only actor I haven't had a single, isolated scene with. I'm really hoping for that."
Kunal Nayyar (Raj)
"I love Kate Micucci and would love for her to come back and for Lucy and Raj to have a relationship. Theirs is a really wonderful relationship. She's so good and talented and just a wonderful human being and a great addition to have on set."
Melissa Rauch (Bernadette)
"I'm a big Kate fan, so I have to jump on Kunal's bandwagon. I love Micucci, so more Micucci!"

Chuck Lorre
"Mayim's wish is going to come true: We are working on a scene between Amy and Howard. I'm also working on something I'm really excited about: Sheldon has a breakthrough in his work and it lifts him to another level and he has to deal with it and he's not comfortable with it -- it's not exactly what he was hoping for. I love the idea that they're real scientists and doing work that matters and that these guys can change the world. I never want to forget that; they're not just hanging out."
Bill Prady
"It would be really great if we can find a cool episode to bring Bob Newhart back. It's something that we're working on and to have a really great story to bring that character back because it's really cool when you go to work and Bob Newhart is there!"

Steve Molaro
"I agree with Bill. I have thought about bringing Bob back and have some ideas but can't tell you what they are! I wish that all 24 episodes are awesome! Right now I only know what the first six are!"
The Big Bang Theory's seventh season premieres Thursday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. on CBS. Hit the comments with what's on your wish list.
