Selena Gomez’ recent interview with WGN in Chicago ended rather abruptly — after the reporter began asking about Justin Bieber.
The singer was live via satellite with entertainment critic Dean Richards, who said, “You’re probably about as close a friend to Justin Bieber as they come… is there something about him that we don’t get or we don’t understand? There’s one story after another of pretty outrageous behavior that we’re reading about.”
Gomez did not look comfortable with the premise, smiling nervously.
“What don’t we get about him, or what is it that he’s not getting?” persisted Richards.
At that point, Gomez’s face disappeared from the screen.
Was Richards out of line, or were his questions fair?
