Helen Thomas, a White House correspondent who covered every president since Kennedy, died Saturday in her Washington, D.C., home. Thomas was known for grilling presidents — one White House press secretary called her questions “torture” — and as a pioneer for women in journalism. She retired in 2010 when a video circulated of her saying Israelis should “get out of Palestine.” She was 92.
