TVGN is getting into the showbiz biz, greenlighting an unscripted series about a talent agency for children as part of its fall 2013 programming initiative.
The cabler, previously TV Guide Network, on Wednesday announced it has ordered two new unscripted series and specials featuring John Rich and Wendy Williams, the latter of which The Hollywood Reporter previously revealed.
First up is Mother of All Talent, an eight-episode docuseries following mother-daughter duo Nikki and Lorri, who have built one of the leading talent agencies for children from their home in Staten Island, New York. The series, whose description sounds similar in tone to Toddlers and Tiaras, hails from Jarrett Creative (Boston's Finest), with Seth Jarrett and Julie Insogna-Jarrett on board to exec produce.

Second, Tequila Sisters is an eight-episode docusoap following the Marins, an affluent multi-generational Hispanic family living in Southern California. In a bid to find its own Kardashians, the series will follow parents Bill and Lori as they raise four daughters while fighting to pass along traditional values as the family is seduced by the Hollywood lifestyle. Rogue Atlas Productions and Lionsgate will produce, with Eli Frankel (Amazing Race, Braxton Family Values) executive producing.
Meanwhile, the John Rich Project (working title) will feature the Grammy-nominated country star and Celebrity Apprentice winner/Nashville Star judge in a special that's party reality and part talk show. The project will be filmed on location at John's home, which he dubs Mount Richmore, and feature live performances, celebrity interviews, surprise guests and audience interaction. The project hails from 25/7 Productions with The Biggest Loser creator David Broome on board to executive produce alongside Yong Yam and Marc Oswald.
