TV Ratings: Fox Samples New Toons, ‘Big Brother’ Climb Continues

Big Brother hit another season high on Sunday night. Fast National returns have the CBS series up three-tenths of a point from last Sunday, giving the network a nightly advantage in the demo with an average 1.1 rating and topping in viewers with 5.2 million.

Fox tied CBS with adults 18-49, driven by solid repeats of its cartoon block and a good 9:30 p.m. sampling of upcoming Saturday lineup Adult Domination High-Def. The half-hour sampling of Axe Cop and High School USA! netted a 1.1 rating for the half-hour. Fox averaged 2.6 million viewers.

Celebrity Wife Swap (1.0 adults) fell back from last week's boost, dropping two-tenths of a point. Whodunnit (1.0 adults) was off by one-tenth, tying its series low. ABC averaged a 0.9 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.5 million viewers.

Crossing Lines (0.6 adults) rose by a tenth from last week's low on NBC, giving the net a nightly average of a 0.8 demo rating and 3.5 million viewers.

Univision also pulled a 0.8 rating with adults 18-49, averaging 1.97 million viewers. Telemundo brought in a 0.7 adults rating and 1.7 million viewers for the night.
