TV Ratings: ‘America’s Got Talent’ Improves, Another Royal Baby Special Disappoints

NBC took Tuesday thanks to America's Got Talent. The two-hour outing for the competition pulled a 2.8 rating among adults 18-49, up three-tenths from last week's score. The network averaged a dominant 2.2 rating in the demo and 7.9 million viewers for the night.

So You Think You Can Dance was off by a tenth of a point from its last showing on Fox. The series averaged a 1.4 rating with adults 18-49 and 4.1 million viewers.

A steady Extreme Weight Loss netted a 1.1 adults rating on ABC. Barbara Walters' 20/20 special on the royal baby brought softer ratings than Monday's modest Dateline special, averaging just a 0.9 rating in the demo. The network pulled a 1.0 adults rating and 3.9 million viewers for the night.

Encores earned a 0.8 adults rating and 5.95 million viewers on CBS.

The rebooted Whose Line is it Anyway? (0.9 adults) shed three-tenths of a point from its big premiere, and Perfect Score (0.3 adults) fell by a tenth. The CW averaged a 0.6 rating with adults 18-49 and 1.6 million viewers.

Univision averaged a 1.6 rating with adults 18-49 and 4.0 million viewers, while Telemundo earned a 0.7 rating and 1.6 million.
