It's one thing to be serenaded by a guy with a guitar. It's something else entirely to be serenaded by a guy with a guitar and his family, after you meet them for the first time on national television. But that's exactly what happens to Desiree Hartsock on the eighth episode of The Bachelorette, airing Monday, July 15.

In a new preview clip from the episode, Desiree accompanies Zak to his hometown to meet his parents and siblings. She's apparently a hit -- the clan is so taken with her that simply telling her they like her isn't enough. So they decide to express their approval through music instead.

"This is the song that we sang in Atlantic City," Zak explains before the living-room performance, referring to the gushy tune he wrote for Des as part of the Mr. America pageant. "But the lyrics have been changed to reflect how my family feels about you."
So how does his family feel about her? "You light the fire inside his eyes / You give him hope that love survives," one of them sings. "Oh, Desiree, now we can see / Your place among our family."
Watch the performance above, and tune in to The Bachelorette on Monday, July 15, at 8 p.m. EDT to see more of Des' hometown dates with Brooks, Chris, Zak, and Drew.
