Taylor Swift Biggest Fan Contest Is Won By 39-Year Old Man And Subsequently Cancelled!” blares Perez Hilton.

That’s NOT why it was canceled.

Gossip Cop has learned there was NO winner in the competition, and that it was canceled prematurely after entrants tried rigging the results via spam bots — a violation of Clear Channel’s policies for its contests.

“Taylor had nothing to do with it, and they were more than a week away from the end of the contest when it was compromised and they had to shut it down,” a source close to the situation tells us, stressing, ”There was never even anything close to a winner.”

And there you have it.
