Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s marriage is “in crisis,” claims a magazine that printed a similar bogus cover story last year, apparently unwilling to get better sources or new targets for its sensationalistic journalism.
Last December, In Touch ran the same “in crisis” line, insisting that Kardashian and Odom were “hanging by a thread.”
Of course, this is a tabloid that seemingly rifles through the National Enquirer’s garbage for stories about Khloe allegedly not being a Kardashian by birth, so when reality doesn’t exactly match In Touch’s reporting, we shouldn’t be shocked.
In any case, the mag alleges that Kardashian and Odom are on the brink of disaster in the wake of his supposed cheating scandal with a woman named Jennifer Richardson.
That affair is a tabloid fabrication.
In Touch spends most of its long, flimsy article trying to convince readers not to believe their own eyes, like when Kardashian looked perfectly happy co-hosting her mother’s talk show last week.
According to the tab, “when the cameras stopped rolling, [she] was plunged back into a painful new reality: a life without [Odom].”
Or when Odom denied the allegations and wrote glowingly about Kardashian on Twitter.
In Touch says that was all a cover-up, too.
Same with Odom’s father Joe and Kardashian’s pal La La Anthony telling the magazine the couple is fine.
It’s only the same unidentified “sources” who seem to think Kardashian’s marriage is crumbling.
The most laughable thing of all might be the supposed confrontation between Kardashian and Odom’s supposed fling Richardson at a Los Angeles Clippers basketball game.
In Touch and other outlets are now alleging that the two women squared off — in a public incident — way back in January.
But the magazine never said anything at the time — or in the six months that followed.
It’s just another colorful tidbit wedged into the tab’s regurgitation of its own discredited allegations about Odom and Kardashian’s marriage.
A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the In Touch report is completely “false.”
