The L.A. District Attorney sought the revocation, claiming the singer violated his probation after an alleged hit-and-run last May during which he supposedly didn’t hand over proper driver’s license and insurance information to the other motorist.
Brown has contended he presented the other driver with valid documentation, and did not violate the law.
He was not happy on Monday following the D.A.’s filing.
The rapper tweeted, “I did everything I was suppose to do during the so called hit n run, I provided the correct info. There were no injuries or damages. C’mon!”
Brown, who could face up to four years behind bars, was not taken into custody.
Instead, he has an August court date during which a judge will decide whether or not he violated his probation.
