Katy Perry sings on Britney Spears’ track “Ooh La La,” she revealed at Sunday’s premiere for The Smurfs 2.
The pop tune, which was written by Bonnie McKee for the movie, actually features her voice — and Perry’s, too.
“Me and Bonnie secretly did some background vocals on that song,” Perry told E! News. “So maybe listen for our voices.”
It might not be a full duet, but it still represents an unexpected recording collaboration between two of the world’s biggest pop stars.
And it’s obvious the two are fond of each other.
After Sunday’s event, Spears tweeted, “So great to see you Smurfette @katyperry! Can’t wait for our Vegas date…”
