Demi Lovato is slamming a TMZ report that claimed she had dissed Justin Bieber during “X Factor” auditions.
According to the initial story — happily gobbled up by HollywoodLife and other outlets on Saturday — Lovato allegedly took shots at Bieber twice earlier this week during contestants tryouts for the Fox singing competition.
TMZ “sources” said Lovato first “took exception” to one aspirant’s attitude and remarked, “We don’t need another little punk running the streets.”
Later, when a man auditioned with the Bieber song “As Long As You Love Me,” Lovato reportedly commented, “Well, finally someone can sing the song the way it was meant to be sung.”
According to TMZ, “there was no mistaking her intentions… [Lovato is] no fan of Biebs.”
Think again.
Lovato has responded to the report, explaining exactly what went down.
