Cory Monteith died on Saturday.

The “Glee” actor was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room.

Monteith was supposed to check out of his room at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel at noon on Saturday, say police, but when he failed to do so, hotel employees went to his room on the 21st floor and found him dead.

A rep tells Gossip Cop, “We are so saddened to confirm that the reports on the death of Cory Monteith are accurate. We are in shock and mourning this tragic loss.”

In March, Monteith entered rehab for substance abuse, and left a month later.

Monteith’s struggles date back to his tween years, with the TV star revealing in a 2011 interview with Parade that he first started abusing drugs when he was 13.

An intervention staged by his mom at age 19 led Monteith to his first stint in rehab for what he called an “out of control” drug habit.

Monteith was 31.

Gossip Cop will update when more information emerges.
