Science Channel will give Comic-Con attendees a look at its new series The Unexplained Files, and The Hollywood Reporter has the first look at the clip that will made its debut in San Diego on Saturday.
Unexplained Files aims to explore the "mysterious phenomena that baffle scientists," from spontaneous combustion to possible curses to UFO sightings.

During its 7 p.m. panel Saturday (room 25ABC), scientists, eyewitnesses and producers will share accounts of blood rain, alien encounters and mysterious meat eaters with Comic-Con crowds for the first time. (Watch the video above.)
Meanwhile, at 5:45 p.m. Friday (room 5AB), Science Channel will present a panel on its series Outrageous Acts of Science. Using viral videos, experts from the worlds of astrophysics and biology will unlock some of the most extreme experiments found on the Internet, such as how a person can successfully jump from a 20-foot platform into a pool with two feet of water.
Fans will also be able to submit videos and pictures from the Con floor with #CitizenScience, giving them a chance to appear on the big screen during the panel.
Unexplained Files is set premiere at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday, Aug. 28, THR has learned exclusively. Meanwhile, Outrageous Acts of Science will air back-to-back episodes at 4 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday, Aug. 4.

THR also has the first look at the bags Science Channel will be distributing at Comic-Con on Friday and Saturday (pictured below); about 20,000 bags will be available to Con-goers this week in San Diego.
The Discovery Communications-owned network is returning to the Con following last year's reunion panel Browncoats Unite: The Firefly 10th Anniversary.
