Chris Brown and Drake are reportedly in the clear after being sued for $16 million by the company that owns W.i.P., the New York club where the two performers’ entourages infamously brawled in June 2012.
The following August, Entertainment Enterprises filed a lawsuit against Brown and Drake, claiming the fight and the bad publicity it generated cost the club in terms of money and reputation.
But now a judge has determined has tossed the suit, according to TMZ.
It was reportedly determined that Brown and Drake had no specific duty to the club to avoid a confrontation, and that the regularity of bar fights means the company can’t sue over such an altercation.
