Julie Chen and her co-hosts on “The Talk” lit into “Big Brother” housemate Aaryn Gries on Monday, as live feed video of racist and homophobic remarks continues to make waves during the show’s 15th season.
Gries has been caught making offensive comments on multiple occasions, and after watching the latest video, Chen was seething.
“My heart is pounding,” said Chen on “The Talk,” adding, “Am I the only one who feels so enraged?… I think it shows us all that in 2013, race is still a deeply, deeply personal issue [and] it is so extremely hurtful.”
Chen went on to call Gries “ignorant” and expressed her wish that the controversial contestant would watch the video and find her own behavior appalling.
