Ben Foster is in final talks to play Lance Armstrong in a movie about the disgraced cyclist.
The still untitled project will be directed by Stephen Frears.
It will follow Armstrong’s remarkable comeback from testicular cancer, his dominance of the Tour de France, and eventual downfall in a doping scandal.
Frears’ film is one of multiple Armstrong projects currently in development.
Foster has appeared in films including Rampart, Contraband, X-Men: The Last Stand, and the upcoming Ain’t Them Bodies Saints.
