In 2012 Ryan Braun got a 50-game PED suspension overturned because his urine sample hadn't been stored correctly. At that time, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers took to Twitter to support his Wisconsin-sports buddy, writing that "MLB and cable sports tried to sully the reputation of an innocent man. Picked the wrong guy to mess with. Truth will set u free." Asked if he really believed Braun was clean, Rodgers said:
As you may have heard, Ryan Braun was just suspended for the rest of the season for using performance-enhancing drugs. In other words, Aaron Rodgers now has to #ponyup his 2013 salary — $4.5 million — because that's how bets work, and if you break the Twitter law, well, people will be angry. On Twitter.
