50 Cent is hitting back at allegations he kicked his baby mama.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, the rapper has been charged with domestic violence and vandalism after a June 23 incident in which he allegedly assaulted the woman and caused $7,100 worth of damage to her Toluca Lake condo.
But in a statement to Gossip Cop, 50 Cent’s attorney Scott Leemon proclaims his client’s innocence and vows to fight the charges.
Leemon, referring to the music star by his given name, tells us:
“Curtis Jackson denies these allegations as made against him. It is important to note, Mr. Jackson has not been arrested and there is no warrant outstanding for his arrest.
We have been in contact with the LA City Attorney’s Office and are currently conducting our own investigation into these allegations.
Out of respect for the legal process, we will not be commenting any further at this time.”
50 Cent is slated to be arraigned on July 22.
