‘Veronica Mars’ Movie: Chris Lowell Set to Return

Another day, another Veronica Mars cast member joining the big-screen movie.

Series creator Rob Thomas announced Saturday that Chris Lowell has joined the cast of the Kickstarter-funded feature film.

The actor joined the series in its third season as Stosh "Piz" Piznarski, Wallace's (Percy Daggs III) roommate in college and will reprise his role in the follow-up.

The news comes a day after Thomas announced that Daggs had joined the cast of the project.

"I think a lot of you will share my excitement when I tell you that Chris Lowell will be returning to Neptune as Stosh “Piz” Piznarski," Thomas wrote in an email to supporters.

The news comes at a busy time for Lowell, who co-stars in Fox's freshman comedy Enlisted.

He joins previously announced Bell, Jason Dohring, Daggs and Enrico Colantoni as boarding the Veronica Mars revival.
