Tyler, the Creator says he was the one — and NOT Justin Bieber — speeding in the teen superstar’s Ferrari around a Los Angeles-area residential neighborhood.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, law enforcement is investigating the singer for reckless driving after he was allegedly seen speeding through his gated community on May 26.
But Tyler, the Creator says it wasn’t Bieber behind the wheel, despite eyewitness accounts, including from former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson.
“That Was Me Behind The Wheel Of Justins Vehicle. Don’t Blame Him,” the rapper tweeted.
He continued, ”People Are Actually Evil Swearing Up And Down That It Was Who It Wasn’t.”
Bieber seemed to appreciate his pal attempting to set the record straight, replying, “all good buddy. i deal with this everyday. thanks though.”
The singer then quipped on Twitter, “the baby aint mine either,” referring to the ridiculous tabloid report claiming he fathered a child with a 25-year-old woman.
The driving case, however, remains under investigation.
In March, Bieber was accused of battery against one of his neighbors after allegedly getting physical with the man and spitting on him following a dispute over Bieber’s driving habits in the gated community. That dispute is unresolved as well.
