The CW Sets Fall Premiere Dates

Following CBS and NBC, The CW has firmed up premiere dates for its fall slate.

The network is rolling out the new and returning programs in October over the course of two or so weeks, keeping in line with its strategy during the fall 2012 rollout.

Come this fall, The CW's reliable Southern drama Hart of Dixie will kick off the slate on Monday, Oct. 7, followed by returning series Beauty and the Beast. The Carrie Diaries will close out The CW's fall rollout with a premiere more than two weeks later on Friday, Oct. 25.

The Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals will debut in the middle of the network's fall plan on Tuesday, Oct. 15, making it the final freshman series to hit the small screen following The Tomorrow People (Wednesday, Oct. 9) and Reign (Thursday, Oct. 10).

The CW is slating Nikita for a final six-episode run midseason, along with rookie dramas Star-Crossed and The 100.
