Paula Deen has reportedly admitted to using the N-word in a court deposition.
The celebrity chef is said to have made the revelation while she was deposed in connection to a lawsuit brought against her by Lisa Jackson, the former manager of her and her brother Bubba Hiers’s Georgia restaurant.
Jackson sued Deen and Hiers last March, claiming she was subjected to sexual harassment and racist remarks by the two eatery owners.

In the deposition, obtained by TMZ, Deen was asked if she’s ever used to N-word before, to which she replied, “Yes, of course.”
The TV cook said she recalled using the word when “a black man burst into the bank that I was working at and put a gun to my head” in 1986.
Deen also admitted she’d probably said the N-word “in repeating something that was said to me,” like “a conversation between blacks.”
However, she added, “That’s just not a word that we use as time has gone on. Things have changed since the ’60s in the south. And my children and my brother object to that word being used in any cruel or mean behavior. As well as I do.”
A rep for Deen issued a statement saying, “Ms. Deen does not condone or find the use of racial epithets acceptable. She is looking forward to her day in court.”
