Paula Deen was dumped by Caesars Entertainment on Wednesday, shortly after the celebrity kitchen personality gave a tearful apology on the “Today Show” for the N-word controversy that has derailed her career.

The casino corporation behind Caesars Palace is severing its ties to Deen, who had restaurants at four of its properties.

Caesars announced that ending its relationship with Deen was in the “best interest” of the company.

Deen’s establishments were located at Harrah’s Tunica in Tennessee, Harrah’s Joilet in Illinois, Harrah’s Cherokee in North Carolina, and a buffet at Horseshoe Southern Indiana.

The restaurants will now be “rebranded” and reopened without the Deen association.
