Miranda Cosgrove is now suing over her August 2011 tour bus crash outside Vandalia, Illinois that she says was preventable, and has left her “disfigured and disabled.”
As Gossip Cop reported at the time, the “iCarly” star’s tour bus slammed into an overturned tractor on I-70, which resulted in Cosgrove breaking an ankle and having to cancel the rest of her scheduled concerts.
The actress-singer is suing the driver of her tour bus as well as the tractor’s driver for failing to keep a “safe and proper lookout,” according to court papers obtained by TMZ.
The suit, filed in the Illinois federal court, says her driver didn’t brake in time, which left her and other passengers “disfigured and disabled,” and caused them to “have lost their normal lives.”
As TMZ notes, Cosgrove and the other complainants are seeking unspecified damages in excess of $50,000.
