Justin Bieber has been slapped with a lawsuit by a photographer who claims the singer ordered one of his bodyguards to rough him up during a dispute in Miami last Wednesday.
According to Jeffrey Binion, who says he’s a professional photographer and not a paparazzo, he was taking photos of Bieber outside The Hit Factory, a recording studio, when the music star allegedly directed bodyguard Hugo Hesny to steal his memory card.
Binion alleges that Hesny threw him against a wall, grabbed his throat, and brandished a gun holstered underneath his shirt.
The photographer says he suffered pain and suffering, bodily injury, mental anguish, and racked up medical expenses from the incident.

Binion’s lawyer further claims that Hesny is neither licensed to be a bodyguard in Florida nor carry a weapon.
“Justin Bieber is now an adult, and he should act like one. He needs to learn that he cannot use bodyguards as weapons to harm innocent people. Bieber’s violent behavior toward photographers must end, and he should take responsibility for his actions,” attorney Russell S. Adler tells TMZ.
He adds, “No amount of fame or fortune justifies Bieber’s shameful and outrageous conduct. To send him that message and deter his misbehavior in the future, we will seek punitive damages against him as allowed by Florida law.”
Binion filed a police report after the incident, alleging battery and theft, though the report notes he had no visible injuries.
