“Glee” is reportedly promoting five cast members to series regulars following the departure of several stars.
Melissa Benoist (Marley), Jacob Artist (Jake), Becca Tobin (Kitty), and “Glee Project” vets Blake Jenner and Alex Newell are getting bigger roles in the musical series’ upcoming fifth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Meanwhile, original cast members Heather Morris, Mark Salling, Amber Riley, and Harry Shum Jr. are not returning as series regulars, although they and Dianna Agron could return in a guest capacity.
