The Dr. Oz Show will continue making house calls on Hearst TV stations through 2016-17, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Sony Pictures Television has struck deals with 16 Hearst-owned stations to continue carrying the daytime talk show through its eighth season on the air.

The stations include KCRA/KQCA in Sacramento, Calif.; WTAE in Pittsburgh; WBAL in Baltimore; KCEW/KMBC in Kansas City, Mo.; WPBF in West Palm Beach, Fla.; and KOCO in Oklahoma City.
The Hearst renewals, first reported by Broadcasting & Cable, comes on the heels of news that Fox-owned TV stations in 13 markets had renewed the show through the 2016-17 season.
Dr. Oz, which centers on medical issues and personal health, is hosted by Mehmet Oz, who first came to fame on The Oprah Winfrey Show. The talker debuted in 2009.
