Discovery Channel is angling to get a little more mileage from Sunday's Skywire Live.
The live telecast of Nik Wallenda crossing the Grand Canyon on a tightrope, which brought in record ratings for the cable network, will get a follow-up special: Nik Talks the Walk. The interview special will also include the daredevil's commentary on all 22 minutes and 54 seconds of his big stunt.

"Wallenda will watch the historic event from start to finish for the first time and provide a step by step account of what he was thinking and experiencing physically with each movement," reads a statement from Discovery. "This special presentation will give viewers insight into one of the most talked about events of the year."
Skywire Live proved a massive hit for Discovery. Topping all broadcasts for the day and swelling to nearly 13 million viewers during the walk, the two-plus-hour coverage averaged 8.5 million viewers.
Nik Talks the Walk is set to premiere Sunday, June 30, at 8 p.m.
