Comic-Con: ‘How I Met Your Mother’ Gets First Panel, 20th TV Announces Full Lineup

The pieces of the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con are starting to fall into place. Though it will be some time before the full schedule and times come out, Twentieth Century Fox Television has confirmed which of its series will be making the trek this year -- and for one veteran it will be a first.

How I Met Your Mother is heading to Comic-Con for its first ever appearance on Saturday, July 20. In anticipation of the CBS comedy's ninth and final season premiering this fall, cast members Josh Radnor, Cobie Smulders, Jason Segel, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan are all making the trek alongside eps Carter Bays, Craig Thomas and Pamela Fryman.

Joining How I Met Your Mother in San Diego is new series Sleepy Hollow. The Fox pilot will get its world premiere during a Friday, July 19, screening and Q&A with the production team and stars Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie. The only other new entry, Fox's animated Murder Police, will share new footage and assemble much of its voice cast on Thursday, July 18.

As for the veteran series, Sons of Anarchy and Bones both return on the drama side. And animated series Family Guy, The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, Brickleberry and American Dad will all make return appearances -- as will Futurama, which gets a sendoff ahead of its final season premiering on Comedy Central this summer. The only notable absence is Glee. The musical comedy, which was not on the original 20th schedule in 2012 either, has been at Comic-Con each of the last four years.

Fox is expanding to a two-story booth on the convention center floor, where talent from the 11 series will rotate through for signings and other activities. Read the fulls schedule below:
