Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are the latest celebrities to be “swatting” victims.
Police raced to the couple’s Los Angeles home on Friday afternoon after a 911 call claimed that Odom was shot after an argument with a friend.
When cops arrived, guns drawn, they found the basketball player home alone and uninjured, says TMZ.
Police sources believe the couple was targeted by the same pranksters who have phoned in false alarms about Ryan Seacrest, Selena Gomez, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna and countless other stars.
And Kardashian’s mom Kris and stepdad Bruce Jenner were victims as well, back in January.
As Gossip Cop has noted, “swatting” takes key resources away from those who are really in danger — and it needs to stop.
