An interview with Christoph Waltz was interrupted by gunshots at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday.

The Django Unchained star was talking with reporters when all of a sudden, gunfire was heard and the actor and other members of the Cannes jury were rushed off stage.
The incident occurred right before the live broadcast of Le Grand Journal, a French news show that takes place every night during the fest.
The unknown gunman was immediately apprehended by police, and no one was injured.
It was initially reported that the sounds were actually fireworks, but those reports are NOT accurate.
