“Brooke Mueller MIA! Released From Psychiatric Hold, Whereabouts Are Unknown,” blares an “exclusive” from RadarOnline.
According to a ”source” for the webloid, “After Brooke sobered up on Friday, she was released from the involuntary psych hold because she was deemed to not be a danger to herself, or others, and her current whereabouts are unknown.”
“Brooke was encouraged by doctors at UCLA to get treatment for her drug addiction, but she refused,” alleges the outlet’s tipster, who adds, “Under the law, she couldn’t be held any longer.”
RadarOnline’s supposed snitch further states Mueller’s loved ones “are sick with worry. ”
“Her cell phone is off, and Brooke hasn’t spoken to her family in several days,” claims the blog’s so-called “source.”
Wow — as in, wow, this is REALLY wrong.
Mueller is NOT “MIA,” as RadarOnline has reported.
A rep for Mueller tells Gossip Cop, “Despite reports to the contrary, Brooke is currently at UCLA Medical Center where she has been since being admitted May 3.”
“Brooke will be there for several more days, and will likely transition directly into a residential treatment facility to get help for prescription drug abuse,” adds the rep, who notes, “Brooke misses her children, and wants to get healthy so she can resume her life and get back to being a mom.”
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Mueller’s twin boys with ex Charlie Sheen are currently in the care of Denise Richards.
