A few days after ABC Family released a first look at upcoming drama The Fosters, the cable network is at it again, doling out a scene from murder mystery Twisted.
Twisted revolves around Danny Desai (Victorious' Avan Jogia), a teen with a troubled past who has recently reconnected with his two female best friends from childhood. He becomes the prime suspect when a fellow student is found dead in her home following a party.

ABC Family aired the first episode of Twisted following the season three finale of Pretty Little Liars in March, a preview of what's to come this summer when it airs after the network's crown jewel.
In a minute-long scene released by ABC Family, Danny -- after he attempts to re-integrate at the local high school following a stint in jail -- and his mother Karen (Denise Richards) have a tense chat about his meeting with the principal. To say things are uncomfortable between mother and son is an understatement.
