Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have something new to mock.

The perfectly happy couple, who laughed at one tabloid for making up a story about Shelton getting “too cozy” with Cady Groves, is featured in a new National Enquirer piece that claims Lambert is in a “jealous rage” over Shelton’s “The Voice” co-star Shakira.

“It’s no secret that Blake can’t help himself when it comes to pretty women, and Shakira, who’s drop-dead gorgeous and funny, is certainly getting his full attention,” says one Enquirer source.

The tabloid says Shelton’s supposed infatuation with Shakira set off Lambert.

“One of Miranda’s spies got word to her that Blake was smitten with Shakira, and she laid into him and made him promise to cut the flirting and not embarrass her,” explains the mag’s insider.

According to the Enquirer, Shelton is still creating sparks with “the hip-shaking Colombian bombshell.”

The outlet’s source says, “He knows he’s playing with fire, so he warned Shakira that when Miranda visits the set they need to play it cool because she’s the jealous type.”

Uh-huh.

If anyone’s creating a stir here, it’s not Shelton and Shakira — it’s the Enquirer.

Because the country singer and his new “Voice” cast mate are friendly colleagues — and that’s it.

Lambert has already shown that she can spot a phony tabloid report when she sees it, so we’re not too worried about her alleged “jealous rage.”

But for anyone who might be duped by the Enquirer story, a source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop it’s “totally untrue.”
