Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are set for a reunion in New York this month, claims OK!
The tabloid, which wrongly reported the former couple would spend last Thanksgiving together and actually fabricated a birthday party reunion last summer, now wants readers to believe it has the scoop on a supposed face-to-face meeting on the occasion of daughter Suri’s 7th birthday.
“Tom’s in New York already finishing his promotional commitments for his film Oblivion,” explains a mag insider. “He made sure his schedule allowed him to be in the Big Apple for Suri’s birthday [on April 18] — it’s her first one since her parents split up.”
According to the OK! source, Cruise and Holmes plan on having a “face-to-face chat and to show a united front for Suri’s sake.”
“Tom’s been asking for this meeting and has been pushing Katie to do something in public with him so the world will see they’re still on good terms,” says the OK! expert.
We wish OK! was on “good terms” with reality, but time after time, that’s simply not the case.
A source close to Holmes tells Gossip Cop the reunion report is “not true.”
In any case, Thursday is Suri’s birthday, and the clock is ticking on OK!’s latest mistake.
