Jason Aldean has filed for divorce, nearly seven months after a cheating on his wife Jessica Ussery.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Aldean was photographed kissing “American Idol” contestant Brittany Kerr last September, an act he later blamed on alcohol.
The country star issued a public apology to Ussery, his wife of 12 years, for his “inappropriate” behavior, and vowed to “work through this” with his family.
But reports of marital strife returned last week, and Aldean officially filed for divorce on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences.
The singer has two young daughters with Ussery.
