The CW is looking to Whose Line Is It Anyway? and a roster of unscripted entries to keep the lights on in the summer.
The network, which is ramping up original entries in its bid for year-round programming, announced the new version of the comedy improve series would anchor its summer schedule.

Hosted by Aisha Tyler, Whose Line Is It Anyway? will kick off the CW's summer schedule on Tuesday, July 16 with back-to-back episodes, followed by the launch of Arielle Kebbel-hosted dating show Perfect Score at 9 p.m., which also will be doubled up at 9 and 9:30 p.m.
The following week will see original episodes of Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Perfect Score at 8 and 9 p.m., respectively, with encores of both entries at 8:30 and 9:30 p.m.
Starting at 9 p.m. on Monday, July 29, the network will bow the second season of its unscripted ballet series Breaking Pointe at 9 p.m., with wilderness competition series The Hunt launching on Wednesday, July 31 at 9 p.m.
