Bob Weir of Grateful Dead Collapses Onstage at Concert (VIDEO)

Bob Weir, one of the founding members of the Grateful Dead, collapsed onstage during a performance with his spinoff band Furthur in New York on Thursday night.

The group, which also includes former Grateful Dead member Phil Lesh, was playing “Unbroken Chain” when all of a sudden Weir began leaning over and then collapsed.

His band members picked him up, and he finished out the song before being helped off the stage.

Lesh told the audience Weir was suffering from shoulder pain.

Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for Furthur for updates on his condition.
