Here, Us Weekly Fashion Director Sasha Charnin Morrison suggests three easy ways to add a dash of color to a basic black and white dress.

"Black and white dresses are everywhere, for every budget and perfect to go from cubicle to cocktail," says Morrison, who suggests packing a colorful punch with accessories like statement jewelry or heels. One of Morrison's footwear faves? Electric blue pumps. "Bright blue in particular works with every tone, height and weight," Morrison explains.

Another of Morrison's accessory must-haves to brighten up a black and white look is a metallic clutch, which can act as a neutral while still adding sparkle. "You can pack some punch without going crazy or over-the-top," she says.
