Amanda Seyfried opens up in the May issue of Allure about the potential Mean Girls musical and reveals the shocking way her role as porn star Linda Lovelace helped her prepare for Les Miserables.
The Big Wedding actress shares an, um, interesting singing tip she learned through her work, telling the magazine, “Imagine deep-throating a penis, get that feeling in the back of your throat, and then sing. That’s where your larynx is.”
Well then!
Seyfried, who played Karen in the film Mean Girls, says, “I desperately want to be Regina” in the musical, which Tina Fey and her music producer husband Jeff Richmond are currently developing.
Asked about working with Lindsay Lohan in the film, the star shares, “She’s talented. Was. I mean, I don’t know… She was so bright-eyed.”
Seyfried, who opted not to go nude in the mag’s annual “Look Better Naked” issue, also opened up about her body, offering, “I saw a picture a couple of days ago from when I was 19, and my boobs were way bigger. They were a D, and now they’re a small C, because I lost weight.”
“There was something so beautiful about the size of them,” says the actress, adding, “When I look back, I’m like, Why did I always give myself such a hard time?”
