Madonna took on the Boy Scouts at the GLAAD Awards on Saturday in New York.

Before handing out the Vito Russo Award to Anderson Cooper for making a difference in promoting equality, Madonna went after the Boy Scouts for not allowing openly gay members.
Dressed as a Boy Scout, the singer said, “I wanted to be a Boy Scout, but they wouldn’t let me join.”
“I can build a fire. I know how to pitch a tent,” she noted, adding, “But most importantly, I know how to scout for boys. So I think that I should be allowed to be a Boy Scout and I think they should change their stupid rules.”
