The “American Idol” Top 10 turned into the Top 9 on Thursday with one contestant eliminated.
Curtis Finch Jr. surprisingly earned the lowest amount of votes.
Judge Nicki Minaj was shocked, and actually got up from the table, and started walking away mouthing “I’m done.”
She went back to her seat at Finch performed “I Believe I Can Fly” in hopes of being saved.
And Minaj noted before his performance, “If you go home, I’m going home.”
In the end, with the judges not in agreement about saving Finch, he was sent home.
