‘Missing’s’ Cliff Curtis Joins Fox’s ‘Gang Related’

Fox has found its gang leader.

Missing alum Cliff Curtis has joined the cast of the network's drama pilot, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Gang Related centers on Ryan Lopez (Charlie's Angels' Ramon Rodriguez), a gang member sent to infiltrate the San Francisco Police Department and rise through its ranks. He must balance his obligations to his crime family -- the gang from his old neighborhood -- with an increasing sense of loyalty to his new "family," the SFPD's Gang Task Force. 

Curtis will portray Javier Acosta, the leader of La Familia Sud, one of the most powerful Latino gangs in San Francisco. He's described as a charismatic businessman with plans to legitimize the family business who is fully aware that his cruel and impulsive son Carlos is a disaster waiting to happen.

He joins a cast that includes RZA, Jay HernandezSung Kang and Inbar Lavi.

Fast and FuriousChris Morgan will pen the pilot for 20th Television and executive produce alongside Scott RosenbaumBrian Grazer and Francie CalfoAllen Hughes will direct the pilot, which also hails from Imagine Entertainment. 

In addition to Missing, Curtis' credits include Trauma, Body of Proof and features The Last Airbender, 10,000 BC and Live Free or Die Hard. He's repped by Abrams Artists.
