Justin Bieber is being investigated for battery after a neighbor accused the pop singer of getting physical with him during an alleged argument at Bieber’s home on Tuesday, Gossip Cop has confirmed.
L.A. County Sheriff’s spokesperson Steve Whitmore tells Gossip Cop that law enforcement received a call at 9:08 a.m. concerning what’s being labeled a “neighborly dispute” between Bieber and his neighbor in Calabasas, California.
Bieber’s neighbor allegedly approached Bieber’s property and began arguing with the singer.
There are conflicting reports about the source of the neighbor’s anger.
TMZ says that Bieber had allegedly been racing his Ferrari up and down the street in the early morning hours, making the neighbor upset about both noise and safety, although that has not been confirmed.
What’s definite is that the man filed a report with police, alleging “battery” and a “threat” of physical violence from Bieber.
No one was injured.
The incident is under investigation.
Gossip Cop has reached out to Bieber’s camp for his version of events.
Bieber’s security team told TMZ that the singer, who just returned from a series of shows, did not make physical contact with the neighbor, but that he went back inside his house and had security escort the accuser from the property.
