Josh Lucas and Lynn Collins are on the case for A&E.
The two have been tapped to star in the cable network's Michael Bay's Occult, lifting the cast contingency on the drama pilot, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Occult revolves around an FBI agent who has returned from administrative leave after going off the deep end while investigating his wife’s disappearance. Eager to be back on the job, he is paired with an agent with her own complicated back story who specializes in the occult. Together, they will solve cases for the newly formed occult crimes task force.

Lucas (The Firm) will star as Dolan, the intense, hotshot FBI agent returning to the force six months after the devastating disappearance of his wife. He's a stand-up guy who is quick to defend a fellow agent, Blair, when she insists that the occult is involved in a recent slaying. Following a supernatural encounter, he's teamed with Blair to head a new Occult Crime Task Force.
Collins (True Blood, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) will play the stubborn prodigy Blair, who follows her hunches and has been obsessed with the occult since reading The Tell Tale Heart at age 7.
James Wong (American Horror Story, Final Destination) will pen the script for the ABC Studios and A&E co-production and executive produce alongside Bay and his Platinum Dunes partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller.
In addition to NBC's short-lived The Firm reboot, Lucas' credits include American Psycho, A Beautiful Mind and Poseidon. He's repped by WME, Principato-Young and Hirsch Wallerstein. Collins repped by WME and 3 Arts, also counts John Carter and Haunted among her credits.
