There’s renewed speculation that Emma Watson will star in the Fifty Shades of Grey film after a reported leaked document supposedly confirmed her involvement.
The Hollywood Reporter noted last week that Anonymous hackers leaked documents from German studio Constantin Film, with one page allegedly saying Watson is attached to star in the highly-anticipated movie.
That prompted outlets like USA Today to run with the story — despite Watson’s repeated denials that she has NO involvement with the project.
So, Gossip Cop looked into the rumor again, and we’ve learned that nothing has changed.
Sources close to the situation tell us that while Watson may be on a studio wish list, she is still not attached to the movie at this time.
And with no director named yet for Fifty Shades, official casting news is still a ways off.
