‘Dual Survival’ Finale Sneak Peek: Joe and Cody Face Treacherous River Crossing (Exclusive Video)

A raging river stands in the way of Joe Teti and Cody Lundin's journey through Northern California's Klamath Mountains in the season three finale of Discovery Channel's Dual Survival.

The episode features a classic wilderness survival scenario. The damp and treacherous woodland environment wreaks havoc on the body with drastic temperature changes and a lack of dry materials for fire-building.

But the risks are raised when they encounter a river with no easy way to cross, as shown in this clip, which is exclusive to The Hollywood Reporter.

"If the hypothermia don't kill you by getting in this water, I can guarantee you, you're gonna die from blunt force trauma and going over a 50-foot waterfall," says Teti, a special operations veteran, adding: "We either cross here or we go back up the mountain, and in my opinion, that is not an option. We have got to keep moving."

The Dual Survival season finale airs at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
