CW’s ‘The 100’ Adds Wise Guy to its Cast

The CW's drama pilot The 100 has added a funnyman to its cast.

Relative newcomer Christopher Larkin has joined the cast of the network's sci-fi drama pilot The 100, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Set 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, a spaceship housing the lone human survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth to investigate the possibility of re-colonizing the planet. The drama pilot is based on the forthcoming Little, Brown-published The 100 book series by Kass Morgan.

Larkin will play Monty, a sweet, funny and likable kid who is the furthest thing from a delinquent. He uses his smarts and sense of humor to help Clarke (Eliza Taylor) in her quest to survive and joins her, Finn, Jasper and Octavia on the trek to Mount Weather.

Repped by Buchwald Fortitude and Bold Management, Larkin's credits include the CW's 90210 and the network's 2011 failed pilot Cooper and Stone.

Jason Rothenberg will write and executive produce the Alloy TV/Warner Bros. TV project along with Leslie Morgenstein and Gina GirolamoBharat Nalluri will direct. Larkin joins a cast that also includes Lost's Henry Ian Cusick, Isaiah Washington, Eli Goree, Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos and Paige Turco.
