Chelsea Handler and Matt Lauer ended their media-hyped feud on Monday morning when the E! comedian appeared on Today to promote the new season of her After Lately series.
"Thank you for ending this simmering feud that we apparently had going," said Lauer while interviewing Handler, adding: "I have so many feuds going with so many people right now I can't even remember exactly what we were feuding about."
Responded Handler: "I realize that. You're very controversial. You're worse than I am, actually. You have a worse reputation than I do."

Earlier this year, it was reported that execs at Comcast, which owns both NBC and E!, home of Handler's talk show and After Lately spin-off, were not amused by a joke Handler made at Lauer's expense on the air.
While mocking Al Roker's revelation that he once "pooped" his pants at the White House, Handler quipped: "This isn't the first time a Today show cast member was in the news about this sensitive subject. For years it was common knowledge that Matt Lauer spent every morning s---ing all over Ann Curry."
As Handler recalls, "I was just making fun of you or Al or somebody and then it got carried away. And apparently the NBC brass had to come and talk to me and say, 'Back off of Matt Lauer.'"
